Advanced Manufacturing, Proven Materials

AMPCO METAL has been actively advancing additive manufacturing since 2019, establishing a dedicated 3D printing center equipped with state-of-the-art metal printers.

By combining our copper based alloys with modern additive processes, we achieve a fine microstructure and excellent elongation, often exceeding the mechanical performance of conventionally produced components. Through customized heat treatment, printed parts meet or surpass the strength, hardness, and conductivity of traditionally manufactured equivalents.

Advanced Manufacturing, Proven Materials

Expanding the Boundaries of Design

Additive manufacturing with AMPCO alloys gives designers and engineers freedom to explore geometries and features that were once impossible through conventional methods. Internal channels, bionic structures, and topology-optimized designs can be created with exceptional accuracy and repeatability.

This approach allows the production of monolithic components such as inductors, heat exchangers, and molds without the need for solder joints or assembly, improving heat transfer, structural reliability, and efficiency.

The Next Generation of Copper Alloy Printing

AMPCO METAL is among the first to successfully produce printed parts using beryllium-containing and high-conductivity copper alloys, achieving mechanical and physical properties equal to or better than conventional production. These materials combine superior thermal conductivity, mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance, making them ideal for tooling, energy systems, and high-performance engineering applications.
