AMPCO® 15
Description
AMPCO® 15 is a wrought aluminum-iron-copper alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in seawater and non-oxidizing mineral acids. Its unique microstructure, often referred to as the ‘AMPCO phase’, provides consistent superiority over commercial bronze. With high ductility, mechanical stability up to 315°C, and good sliding properties, AMPCO® 15 is a versatile alloy ideal for a variety of industries including marine, aerospace, and automotive.
