Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and creative Content & Copy Writer with an engineering background to join our dynamic marketing team. This position will be based in our Bratislava office and will report directly to the head of marketing located at our headquarters in Marly, Switzerland. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and maintaining high-quality written content for our group of companies, their products and services, with a focus on technical subjects related to metallurgy and nonferrous metal alloys.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, brochures, newsletters, and social media.
• Create technical documentation, articles, white papers, case studies, and product descriptions with a focus on metallurgy and nonferrous metal alloys.
• Collaborate with the marketing and engineering team to produce compelling copy for campaigns, presentations, and events.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, coherence, and alignment with the company’s brand and messaging.
• Research industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content to engage and educate our target audience.
• Ensure all written materials are accurate, well-researched, and meet the company’s standards.
• Manage multiple writing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content writing and copywriting.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field. A degree in Communications, Journalism, or English with relevant technical experience will also be considered.
• Proven experience as a content writer or copywriter, preferably within a technical or industrial environment.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging content for a broad audience.
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and content optimization strategies.
• Proficiency in using content management systems and writing tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
