To a certain extent, there are many ways the products we make impact each of our daily lives.

AMPCO® 45 is used heavily in the aerospace markets. In fact, chances are that the last flight you took, you landed on AMPCO® 45 bushings. Ampco supplies the landing gear bushing/bearing material that ends up on almost every aircraft produced. Why? Because of the high technical and physical properties of the Ampco products.

AMPCO® 673 is the alloy of choice for most lawn mower engine producers. If you have a walk behind self-propelled lawn mower, you most probably have also an AMPCO® drive gear doing the work.

AMPCO® 25 is used by different stainless steel transformers. The stainless steel sink in your kitchen or the stainless steel thermos container you use to sip your coffee from have most probably been formed with our exceptional die bronze. Why? Because it limits the galling and pick-up and therefore reduces secondary polishing work.

AMPCOLOY® 940, AMPCOLOY® 972 are used heavily in the manufacturing of automobiles. Our products help weld cars structures and bodies together. So when you see the sparks fly on some TV commercials, that’s Ampco at work.
